Janet L. Ruth, age 79, was called from her labor to eternal rest on Thursday June 29, 2017. She was born on March 23, 1938 in Youngstown, OH to the late James and Mary Poindexter.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents and brother Lee Randolph Poindexter.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years Willie C. Ruth; daughters Denise Ruth Howard, and Carla Ruth; grandchildren Angel Ruth, and Carlton Ruth; great-grandchildren Shaikale Ruth Sr., Max Jackson, Mi`Angel; great-greatgrandchildren Shaikale Ruth Jr., and Skylar Ruth; brother James Poindexter Jr.; sister Joan E. Whited; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and countless friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 7, 2017 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Rd., Columbus 43232, starting at 10am until the start of Janet's Celebration of Life at 11am.
