Janet S. Ward, 61, of Columbus, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. Janet was born in Chillicothe, OH on June 2, 1955 to Andy R. Ward, Jr and Ruth J. (Spence) Ward and is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wesley E. Ward.
Janet is survived by her brother, Roger D. Ward Sr; special sister, Carol Caldwell; nephews, Roger (Megan Malik) Ward Jr and Christopher (Brittany Keaton) Ward; boyfriend, Larry Moore; special niece, Stephanie Dawes; 5 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces; many cousins and friends.
Janet worked for the State of Ohio Department of Taxation for 26 years.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday, November 20, 2016, 2-5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with the Funeral Service on Monday, November 21, 2016, 11 AM.
A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, OH.
