Janice is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Melvin Massey; parents; sister, Millicent McCampbell; mother and father-in-law Edwin and Ruby Massey; and sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Commodore.
She is survived by daughters, Terri Lynn and Paula Marie Massey; son, Melvin Martin Massey Jr.; grandson, Tyreece Samuel Massey; sister, Linda (Louis) Price; brothers, Ralph (Fonda) and Glenn (Jackie) Morgan; cousins, Marianne (Raymond) Lockett and Juanita Lane; brothers-in-law Nathanial (Betty), Edwin (Mary), James (Jackie), Eugene (Eugenia) and Robert (Ruby) Massey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00am-11:00am at New Zion Baptist Church, 1107 E. Mound St. Columbus, OH 43205 followed by funeral services at 11:00am with Reverend Vincent L. Golden Sr. officiating.
