Janice L. Shelton, 75, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014. Janice was born in Bardwell, OH on December 10, 1938, to Thomas and Elizabeth (McNeer) Elliott and is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bobby "Speck" Latham and Charles Shelton; son, John Latham; sister, Ethel Sokiol; brother, Ron Elliott.
Survivors include her son, Mike (Nina) Latham; brother, Norman (Marcella) Walker; daughter-in-law, Joyce Latham; grandchildren, Amy (Josh) Fick, Jeremy (Hope) Latham, Adam (Jessica) Rhoades, Sara (Brian) Day, Justin Latham; great-grandchildren, Christian, Cody, Brayden, Makenna, Kaden; nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family members.
Janice worked for the Ohio Department of Health.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In addition, visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014, 1-2PM at Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home, 19306 St Rt 136, Winchester, OH, 45697 with the funeral at 2:00 PM.
Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Russellville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to Central Ohio USBC Youth Scholarship Fund, 643 South Hamilton Road, Columbus, OH 43213.
