Jareth Logan Greene, 14, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Westerville, OH. Jareth was born on October 30, 2003 in Columbus, OH to Seth Greene and Jennifer (Gillman) Greene.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Xander; grandparents, Jean Gillman, Wayne Gillman, Richard and Tyberia Greene; aunt and uncle, Rani and Michael Conger, and cousins, Sage, Nailyan and Wilhelmina and aunt, Sarah Greene.
Jareth was in the eighth grade at Walnut Springs Middle School. He was active in the chess club and recently qualified for an upcoming school trip to Washington, DC. Jareth loved constructing worlds using both Legos and Minecraft. He recently participated in the Westerville Schools Lego competition. He had an intense love of music and always carried a personalized soundtrack around with him.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 12 to 2pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm also at Newcomer NE Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.
