Jason Brown

Jason Fitzgerald Brown, age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on October 14, 2025. Jason was born on November 20, 1964 in New York City, New York to the late William J.Brown and the surviving Ruby L. Brown.

Jason attended Columbus High School in the Bronx. After graduation, he pursued higher education at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Upon returning to New York, Jason joined the United States Navy. After serving his country, he returned to the Bronx to continue his education at Lehman College.

Jason is preceded in death by his father, William and granddaughter, Riley.

He is lovingly survived by his mother Rubye; daughters, Savannah, Natasha, Brittnay, and Tatiana; step-children, Martina, Danyelle, Mollie, Nova, and David, his life partner, Ronda Reed, his grandchildren, Ezra, Oaklynn, Carmella, Zylen, Harmony, Secret, Hudson, Wyatt, Isla, his brothers; Willard, Charles, Joey; mother of his children, Teresa Dacosta, grand aunts; Phoebe and Martha; grand uncle Samuel; nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.

He loved shooting guns and camo. He was one of the funniest people ever. He loved his grandchildren more than anything. He enjoyed watching the History Channel and Family Guy. He was an avid animal lover and loved working on cars.

He will be deeply missed.
