Jason William Hobson, 36, of Centerburg, passed away Saturday, July 20th, 2019. Jason was born August 27th, 1982 to William and Catherine (Glover) Hobson. He was married to his high school sweetheart Nicole (Mussio) for 11 years. Jason will be deeply missed by his wife; children Reilly and Ava; parents; brother Tyler (Sabrina Labrador) Hobson; nephew Colton; niece Skylar; grandparents John and Sylvia Glover, Joan Gabbard; uncles John (Marianne) Glover Jr., Robert Hobson, Donald Hobson; aunts Nora Hobson, Teresa Hobson, Edith Hobson; cousin Cody Glover as well as numerous cousins on fathers side and many other family and friends. Jason was preceded in death by his grandpa, Bobby James Hobson.
Jason had an infectious personality and everyone he met was a friend. You knew he was in a room by the howls of laughter. His favorite pastime was to barbeque for friends and family. Jason would never turn down an opportunity to fire up the grill. He was an extremely hard worker. He would give the shirt off of his back if it would help his family or friends. He was very proud of his company, Viking Construction, which he started with his father. Jason loved being active in the Northridge community and his kids activities in particular. He was elated to coach his sons baseball team for many years and was looking forward to coaching his daughter in softball as well. He was thrilled to attend every event to cheer his kids on- sometimes even dragging a grill along with him! More than anything, Jason cherished his time spent with family. It didn't matter if it was 4H, camping, fishing, hiking, grilling or just sitting around the house. He was happiest when with his kids. His heart and soul was dedicated to his wife, kids, parents, brother and grandparents. He lived life to the fullest and loved to the fullest. He will be truly missed.
