Jasper Jude 86 passed from this life over to eternity March 5, 2015 at the hospital. Jasper was born in Beauty Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents Gabe and Laura (Triplett) Jude. Jasper's siblings preceding in death are Bunyan, Rass, Ethel, Gladys, Cullen, Grace, Wilda, Kurtis, and Mary Doll. Jasper is survived by one brother Franklin "D" Jude of Columbus, Ohio.
Jasper is preceded in death by his wife Naoma (Short) Jude. They shared 56 years of marriage before her passing. Jasper and Naoma have four children Judy (Tom) Williams, Danny Joe (Cheryll) Jude, Laura Jean (Tommy) Musselman and Jasper (Tia) Jude Jr.
Jasper has 14 grandchildren Joseph,, Jeannie, Jeff, Tommy, Bennett, Jeanette, Jennifer, Jordyn, Cheyann, Matthew, Jaylin, Julian, Jillian and Jocelyn.
Jasper has 13 great grandchildren Brianna, Brittany, Natalie, Matthew, Caden, Olivia, Aubree, Kylie, Lane, Samuel, Jacob, Macey and Levi.
Jasper began working very early in his youth because of the Great Depression. He began with the Gas Company proceeded to the Coal Mining Industry in Eastern Kentucky and Southwestern West Virginia. Jasper came to Columbus and got a job at Armstrong Furnace Company. He worked as a wireman/assembler.
Jasper had acquired black lung from working in the coal mines. His black lung forced early retirement.
Jasper and Naoma began taking an interest in garage sales and flea marketing. They met and made many friends as the years went by.
Jasper loved the flea market and he especially enjoyed growing a garden.
Jasper's most important trait was his love of family and his work ethic. In pain and breathing problems he had a determined will pushing forward and never giving up.
Visitation Monday, March 9, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Grove City Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1pm with visitation one hour prior at Grove City Church of God. Interment to follow at Jackson Township Cemetery, Fox, OH. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
