March 29, 1926 — January 2, 2016
Jean Musgrave Richards, 89, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016. She was a resident of Columbus and New Albany.
Jean was the owner of Jean's Upholstery and Drapes and an active member of the Blendon Senior Center for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Richards Jr.; daughter, Jill Richards; sister, Fay Butler; brothers, Earl and Tom Musgrave.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Judy (Marvin) Allmon; grandchildren, Kevin (Jackie Stewart) Jenkins, Paul (Pam) Allmon, Jeff (Sara) Allmon and Cheryl (Dave) Harmon; eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends including lifelong friend, Elsie Roach.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mifflin Twp. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jean's memory to the charity of your choice.
