Jean Scott

Jean Scott, 92, passed away on October 13, 2026. She was born on October 20, 1933 to the late William and Mildred (McKenna) McDonald in Columbus, OH. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Duane J. Scott, daughter and son-in-law Carol (David) Stephens. Jean is survived by children, William (Carolyn) Otis, Phyllis (Kevin) Cain, Bret (Vikki) Hagans, sister (daughter) Jane Barry, children, Mike (Diane) Scott, Greg (Stephanie) Scott, Deborah Schramm, Jacqueline (Will) Haskins; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.

She has a special way of making people feel remembered. Whether it was a homemade treat, a card arriving in the mail, or an unexpected surprise, her acts of kindness were reminders of how much she cared.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Shanon for her special care and thoughtfulness as well as thank the doctors and nurses at Mt. Carmel Grove City for their dedication and care.
