Jeffrey Scott Messenger, age 55, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017. He was born in Columbus, OH on October 3, 1961.
He was a graduate of New Albany High School. He was a friend to everyone and always put others first.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Maryann Morrison; grandparents, Gladys Weaver and Donald Lortz. He is survived by his siblings, Cathy Chalfant, Randy (Lynn) Messenger, Terry (Bob) Hisey, Kyra Messenger, Kevin Messenger, Kris (Steve) Selvage and Bob (Michele) Morrison; many nieces, nephews and friends, and his beloved dog, Charlie.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, N.E., 3047 Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where the funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, July 8, 2017. Interment at Lock Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Jeffrey's memory may be made to the Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213.
