Jeffrey Alen Seagraves

Jeffrey Alen Seagraves, fondly known as Jeff, passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on March 16, 1951, Jeff lived a fulfilling life marked by a diverse career, dedication to family, and a vibrant spirit.

Jeff was a respected System Designer for Nestle, a role he approached with creativity and innovation. He often reflected on his varied career path, humorously noting the range of experiences he had—from decorating ice-cream to working for NASA. This breadth of experience illustrated not only his versatility but also his passion for technology and design.

He was a proud graduate of Franklin Heights High School, class of 1969, where he embraced his identity as a Falcon. Jeff's high school years left a lasting impression on him, just as his legacy will leave a mark on those who knew him.

Throughout his life, Jeff was known for his warm sense of humor and as a dedicated "girl dad," cherishing his daughters dearly. His interests included golf, where he took pride in being the longest member of the Par Busters golf league. He also found joy in building and flying RC model airplanes, and relished the feeling of sawdust in his hands as he crafted creations with his daughters and grandchildren.

Jeff’s family was paramount to him. He is survived by his four daughters, Kimberly Rich, Kristina (Daryl Jr.) Waits, Kellie (Gerald) Curtis, and Courtney Seagraves. He also leaves behind his fiancé, Rebecca Howard, a source of love and companionship in his later years. Jeff was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and a beloved great-grandfather to 9 great-grandchildren. His legacy continues through them. He is also survived by his sister, Edith Perry; sister, Connie (Dennis) Williamson; and brother, Dale (Heather) Seagraves.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elex Seagraves, and mother, Helen Seagraves, along with his former wife, Sandra K. Vance-Seagraves. Jeff's family and friends remember him as a source of laughter, love, and inspiration.

Visitation services for Jeff will be held on June 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. As we remember Jeffrey Alen Seagraves, we celebrate a life well-lived, touching many hearts along the way.
