Jeffrey B. Spaulding

Jeffrey B. Spaulding, 67, of Saint Louisville, passed away April 13, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Jeffrey was born January 17, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to Gene Spaulding and Delores Hickman Spaulding.

Jeffrey was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and always shared that the way to God was through Jesus. Jeffrey believed that even through difficult times he could trust God as shared in Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”

Jeffrey’s love for his family and friends was always evident as he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. In addition, Jeffrey loved working on his 1970 Monte Carlo SS. He was an extremely hard worker and a very talented carpenter, artist and vocalist who had the voice of an angel. Jeffrey also loved all of his dogs, especially Bella Blue.

Jeffrey loved his country and served in the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged after an injury.

Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his mother, Dolores, as well as his three daughters, Tricia Spaulding, Heather (Kaheem) Collins, Jordan Moore and his five grandchildren, Jayvon, Jeffrey, Anyla, Rashad, and Amela. He also leaves behind two brothers, Steve (Carol) Spaulding, Mark (Dee) Spaulding along with two sisters, Lisa (the late Mike) Smith and Kim (Mike) Lightle and several nieces and nephews and lots of family and friends.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Gene, his brother Rick and his grandson Rashad. Jeffrey was also preceded in death by his childhood friend Terry Moore.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and other staff at Riverside Hospital for their compassionate care of Jeffrey.

A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
