Jennifer M. Reed

Jennifer M. Reed, 56, of Columbus, OH passed away on August 20, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1970 in Columbus, OH.

Jennifer was an avid photographer and a stalwart of her community. She loved to cook and feed others. Jennifer always had a smile on her face. She was always a welcoming hand and all kids were her kids. Jennifer has made her final steps and finally gone to see the ocean.

She went to join her husband, Anthony McFarland, parents, Melvin Reed Sr. and Rosa I. Reed.

Surviving family includes children, Kirstin McFarland, Markyl (Alex Delahunt) Reed-McFarland, brothers, Melvin (Vickie) Reed Jr., Michael (Natascha) Reed, aunt, Thomasine Evans and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11am to 1pm, Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a memorial service will begin at 1pm.
