Jeremy Lawrence Gloyd

Jeremy Lawrence Gloyd, was born on December 19, 1980 to Lawrence Vernon Gloyd, Jr. and Alicia Kay (Hinkle) Henderson. He passed away suddenly on September 18, 2026 at the age of 45 at home.

Jeremy is survived by his sons, Jeremy Jr. and Brandon Gloyd; his mother Alica (Kevin) Henderson, father, Lawrence (Marie) Gloyd; grandchildren, brother, Shawn McConahay; step-siblings, Brenda, Candy, and John; grandmother, Lenora Gloyd; aunt, Charlotte, many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jeremy was preceded in death by sister, Michelle L. Jenkins; favorite uncle, Gerald "Frank" Hinkle, grandfathers, Lawrence Gloyd, Sr., Gerald L. Hinkle, Carl Henderson; and grandmothers, Wanda L. Hinkle and Emma Henderson.

Jeremy was always upbeat, had a huge heart, and was a big teddy bear. He was often smiling and loved talking about movies. Jeremy loved the outdoors and talking about the weather. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and with people he knew. He was always willing to help others if you need anything; the first to volunteer. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and talking college football. He loved his family the most and was proud of his sons and grandsons.

Family will welcome friends and loved ones on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 (614-539-6166). A memorial service will begin at 3:00PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
