Jerome Kendell Maynard

Jerome Kendell Maynard, 62, of Columbus, passed away on June 4, 2025. He was born in Columbus on August 14, 1962 to the late Everette and Vivian (Hodge) Maynard.

Those left to cherish Jerome’s memory include siblings, Georgette “Gail” Baker, Billy Maynard, Brenda Kelly, and John Maynard; and many nieces and nephews that were like his own children. Along with his parents, Jerome is preceded in death by brother, David and sister, Faith.

For many years, Jerome served as a member of a grounds crew for Delaware Golf Course and a Janitor at Skinner Diesel Services. When he wasn’t working, Jerome loved planting and growing flowers.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10am to 11am, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. A service to honor Jerome’s life will be held at 11am, Friday, June 13, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial to follow services at Field of Honor Burial Park, Columbus, Ohio.
