Jerry Bryan, 69, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 22, 1946 to Roy and Susanne Bryan-McCoy. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lawrence Bryan and David Bryan.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 17 years, Barbara Bryan; children, Lori Gatshal, Jerry Bryan, Jr. and Johnny Bryan; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Karen (Paul) Richmond and Patty Koontz; stepchildren, Vicky Williams, Andy (Lisa) Melfi, Ron Melfi and Gina (Russell) Castle. Jerry's loss will be deeply felt by many other family members and friends too numerous to name.
He was dedicated to the American Legion Post 532 and his passion was the law enforcement award program.
A visitation is scheduled on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 1-3 p.m at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral ceremony will follow immediately after at 3 p.m. The American Legion Post 532 will perform Military Honors following the funeral ceremony.
