Jerry Craig

Jerry Craig, 74, of Ashville, passed away on July 31, 2026, at OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville. Jerry was born in Columbus on August 7, 1951, to the late David and Josephine Craig. He was proceeded in death by his beloved daughter, Melanie. He enjoyed two happy marriages in his life, with Katherine and Kim, both of whom also preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish memories of Jerry include son: Timothy Craig; Brother; Donnie, Children: Heather and Jamie, Grandchildren: Brian (Cassady) Craig, Dustin (Lexi) Craig, Marisa Fleenor, Billy Fleenor, Sandy (Michael) Cordiano, Kayla (Kirk) Kierns, Krysta (Andy) Overcash, Mary, Dakota and Angel Green and many, MANY great-grandchildren and friends.

Jerry very much loved the littles of the family. His face would light up with joy and beam with pride at the simple sight of the family he helped create. He always made sure to say how proud he was of everyone and how fast time flies each time a little one was a little bigger than the last time he saw them. The warmness of his smile will not be forgotten.

Jerry honed his professional craft of plumbing for multiple decades. Working with honor and quality service, passing on the work ethic to his son, Tim, who joined him in the industry followed by his grandsons, Brian and Dustin Craig. When he wasn't at work, Jerry loved to bird watch, tend to his cats, watch old western films and enjoy time with his family. He very much enjoyed being near the sea and on the beach. Some ice cream at the end of a long day (or for any reason) was a must after riding with the top down in his PT Cruiser on a nice day.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 3pm to 4pm, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions - Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. a service to honor Jerry's life will be held at 4pm, Saturday, August8, 2026, at Newcomer Grove City. Cremation to follow at a later date.
