Jerry Lee Davis

Jerry Lee Davis, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2026, in London, Ohio. He was born on March 23, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio.

Jerry spent his whole working life as a truck driver. That work reflected steady commitment and a willingness to keep going day after day. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a man who built his life through hard work. He enjoyed building model cars, working on cars, going to car shows, and races. He especially loved spending his time watching his grandchildren grow.

He is survived by his children, Luana Howard and her husband Jesse Howard, John Marks and his wife Andrea Marks, Jerry Davis and his wife Aja Davis, and Mary Minnehan and her husband Matt Minnehan. He is also survived by his brother, Charlie Davis and his wife Pam Davis, and by his sister, Alice Riggs.

Jerry’s family also includes his grandchildren, Ashlee, Aaron, Alexis, Lucas, Meagan, Phillip, Amber, Chelsea, Sammy, Briana, Jesse Jr., Michelle, Cassie, and Trista, his adopted granddaughter. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, Jaydien, Silas, Hadley, Riot, and Lillie. He leaves behind a large family who will carry his memory forward with love.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cynthia (Kivett), who he married on July 12, 2000;  his father, Chuck Davis, and his mother, Helen Tilley; sister, Carolyn Sturgill.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
