Jerry S. Lide, 75, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Westerville, Ohio. Jerry was born on January 2, 1943 in Selma, Alabama to Wilton and Lois Lide.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim Lide.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Anita; children, Allison Lide, Casey (Jessyca) Lide, Kristin Geiger and Amelia Lide; grandchildren, Magnolia and Nikolas Henderson-Lide; brothers, Rod (Judy) Lide and Bill (Sue) Lide; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Jerry was a graduate of Abilene Christian University. The majority of his working career he was a computer systems engineer. Jerry enjoyed reading, airplanes, photography and classical music.
Family will receive friends on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 am also at Newcomer Northeast Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the family.
