Jerry "Mike" Johnson

On December 25, 2025, Mike was healed and is now walking and talking with his Lord hand in hand. His faith was evident in the way he served others and Jesus Christ. We, his family, are grateful that this is not the end for him. It is truly just the beginning.

Mike was born January 29, 1957 to Arch and Vicie Johnson in Marion, IN. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by siblings, Patty, Robert, Linda, and Burchel; and sister-in-law, Connie Johnson.

Mike is survived by loving wife, Lisa; children, Shellie (Doug) Barber and Arch (Annie) Johnson; grandchildren, Anthony (Destiny), Ella, Bristol, Eli, and Addison; brothers, Arch (Lynda) and Charlie Johnson; sisters-in-law, Delean and Deborah Johnson; brother-in-law, Rick Summers; numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends.

Mike retired from the City of Columbus, where many fond memories were made. His love of hunting enabled him to have many amazing experiences and travel across the globe.  He also enjoyed golfing and fishing, hosting and attending gatherings with family and friends that were full of love and laughter. Mike loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and enjoyed serving Christ and the Church.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 3-4pm with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4pm at Covenant Church, 1240 Borror Rd., Grove City, OH.
