Jessie "Cissy" Johnson, 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in Westerville, OH. Jessie was born on April 17, 1948 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Douglas Marlin Johnson Jr. and Margaret Annette Peppers Johnson.

Jessie is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Ora Johnson, sisters Marlene (Skeeter) Newsome of Gallipolis, OH and Maria (Bucky) Johnson of Columbus, OH, brother Douglas (Thumper) Johnson of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
