Jim Barnes, 62 of Centerburg, OH, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on October 2, 2016. Born on May 3, 1954 to Kathleen (Stafford) and the late Homer Barnes in Columbus, OH. Survived by wife of 44 years Karen Clickenger-Barnes, children James Edward Barnes, Jr. and Brenda Bland, grandchildren Shania Bland, Madison Bland and Damian Barnes, and brother Harold (Laurinda) Barnes.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm.
Funeral service on Friday at the funeral home at 11am with Pastor Mike Brown officiating.
Burial to follow at Trenton Cemetery, Condit, OH.
