Jim Blubaugh

Jim Blubaugh, 78 of Columbus, passed away surrounded by his loving children on June 11, 2016 and went to be with his Lord. Born on July 19, 1937 to the late Stephen and Mary (Doyle) Blubaugh in Akron, OH. Lived in Cuyahoga Falls for the first 39 years of his life, graduated in 1956 from Cuyahoga Falls High School, proud Army Veteran serving from 1957 to 1959. Jim loved working at Lawson's in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and had a long career in the Insurance Industry and retired from the Ohio Department of Insurance, a job that he loved. Survived by children Mary Buchan, Maureen (Bob) Greer and John (Kim) Blubaugh, grandchildren Molly, Abby, Erin, Ben, JT and Joseph, siblings Danny and Steve (Gayle) Blubaugh. Went to be with his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Blubaugh, siblings Jack Blubaugh, Rosemary Lehner and Thomas Blubaugh.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm.

Mass will be held at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 N. High St., Lewis Center, OH on Friday at 10:30am with Father Homer Blubaugh officiating.
