Jim Brown, 62, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at O.S.U. Medical Center.
He was born October 14, 1952 in Columbus, son of the late Walter and Katherine Coons Brown.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Croy Brown; children, Mike Brown, Bridget (Mike) Williams, Mindy (Rick) Writesel, Jimmy Brown Jr. and Jenn (Josh) Monigold; three sisters; six brothers and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of Brenda Brown.
Jim was a caring, kind man with a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have met him.
