James R. Nash, 67 of Columbus, passed away at Mt. Carmel/St Ann's Hospital on February 17, 2017. James was born on August 23, 1949 to Robert Donald Nash and Mary Margaret (Stamper) Sheward in Columbus, OH. James served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. Along with his mother, he is survived by children Robert (Robin) Nash, Kristina (Nick) Nash-Bradford, Timothy (Angela) Nash and Julieann (Ryan) Nash-Moore; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Cheryl (Ralph) Leesburg and Ronald (Nancy) Nash. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by wife Deborah Nash; brother Steve Sheward.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm.
Graveside service will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH on Saturday at 11am with Pastor Jeff Tibbs officiating.
