Jim Stevens

James L. Stevens, age 86, of Westerville, OH, passed away at Select Specialty on August 22, 2017. He was born on February 5, 1931 to the late Fred and Hazel (Devault) Stevens in Obetz, OH. James retired from the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard with 29 years of service and 17 years with the State of Ohio. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by children James "Stevie" Stevens and Theresa F. Mollohan, wives Rosemary Jordan, Lela Belle and Phyllis Nettleton, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. James is survived by children Melodie (Jonathan) Stevens-Koo, Michael (Tami) Stevens and Gene (Wynelle) Stevens, son-in-law Gary Mollohan, step-children Jacque (Dan) Cole, Lizann (Jeff) Makley and T.J. (Jessica) Jordan, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral service on Saturday at St. Matthias Catholic Church 1582 Ferris Rd., Columbus, OH at 10am with Father Raymond Larussa officiating.

Burial to follow at Field of Honor Cemetery, Canal Winchester, OH.
