Kaloia "Joan" Cales Netral, 84 of Columbus, OH passed away August 25th, 2020. She was born November 4th, 1935 in West Virginia. She was recently preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Netral. She was also preceded in death by her Mother Reva Gill Cales, her father Houston Cales, brother Kermit Cales, sisters Drema Blankenship, Gerena May Steele, Sandra Faye Cales, and niece Jewell Cales. She is survived by children Carl "CJ" Netral and wife Debbie, Leisa Smith and husband Wayne, Sonya Rohrs and husband Steven, Charles "Tony" Netral and wife Ruby, grandchildren Carla Netral, Dustin Netral, Charlie Netral, Christopher Netral, Aaron Smith, Tessa Rohrs, Ryan Netral, Lance Netral, Levi Netral, and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Gene Cales and wife Ronni, Jennings Cales and wife Nelsy, Roger Cales and wife Peggy, sister Judy Biggs, and nephew Echols Cales.
She worked hard all of her life in many different jobs. She worked at many diners, a laundromat, as an Avon representative, and as a charter bus coordinater, a job she truly enjoyed. She took bus loads of people to bingo games and casinos. She loved animals, flowers, gardening, physical fitness, and decorating her house for the holidays.
Joan loved her family and she was always very supportive in many different ways. We know that she is reunited with her husband Charles, her parents, her siblings, and all of her loved ones. Joan's favorite Bible verse was John 3:16.
She will be laid to rest in the Grove City Cemetery surrounded by her immediate family.
