Joan C. Weaver

It is with Broken Hearts that we share that Joan Weaver has passed away after her courageous battle with cancer on July 13, 2026.

Joan was born on August 31, 1966 in Celina, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Ann Wagner.

She is survived by her husband, Jon, daughters,Noelle and Isabelle, sisters, Joy (Richard) Fishpaw, June (Vern) Litmer, brothers, Roger Wagner (Sandy Smith), Bob Wagner, Randy Wagner, mother-in-law, Joanmarie Weaver, sisters-in-law, Law Katrina Weaver, and Anna (Roy) Norman.

Joan dedicated her life to helping people, and to bring them closer to God. From her mentoring others in the Home Schooling communities, and her gathering others for bible study and encouraging others to grow in their faith. She was deeply involved in the Catholic in Recovery community, sharing hope to those with friends and family struggling with addiction.

She was also so very thankful the love, compassion and kindness of the staff at the Stephanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.

But most of all, Joan loved being with her family. Other than spending time deepening her faith, she cherished being with her daughters, siblings, and her beautiful nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am, Friday, July 24, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 280 N. Grant Ave., Columbus, OH.
