She loved to tell the story, about when her parents asked her "Since your sister takes dance classes what do you want to do?" and she said "I want a horse". Since then her life revolved around Horses and dogs. In the 1960's, she started hanging out at Welsh's riding academy and that is where she met her life long friends, of over 70 years Dee, Carol, JD and Eileen.

She also helped her fellow horse community. For many years she was the leader of the Trojans 4-H club and taught many about loving and having fun with your horse. She was involved in many horse organizations, She was a member of the Ohio Paint Horse association, the Ohio Horseman's council, the Quarter Horse Association and many more. She was also an advocate for horse trails in parks and even stopped a cell phone tower from being built in the near by park.

As a member of the Michigan Trail Riders, rode across the state of Michigan (about 365 miles) on horseback and with all her kids, that's a superwomen.

The family would like to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice and Gina Clark for her loving kindness and care.
