Joanne Foster, 90, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away October 28, 2019. She was born on February 7, 1929 to the late John and Mary Pintavilli.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Anne Ward. Surviving family includes, son, Ronnie (Patricia) Foster, grandson, Jameson Ward, great-grandson, Sean Foster and loving Husband of 44 years, Clarence Foster.
Joanne, a graduate of East High School, was affectionately called "Pepe" by her husband. Clarence, loved Joanne with all of his heart and spent every waking moment dedicating his time to upholding the promise he made to her when they secretly eloped. During long car rides to Jacksonville, Florida Joanne and Clarence did not listen to music because their conversation filled the void. They spent every morning walking the beach and every evening over a candlelight dinner.
Clarence named their family boats Dramamine1 and 2, because Joanne always became seasick on long outings, but she was as "tough as barbwire", because even though her stomach could not handle the waves, she always seemed to catch the biggest fish.
In her youth, she would play in the alley with Bob Caldwell, and loved kick ball, climbing trees, and finding explanations on why her dresses were ripped when her mother would ask.
A well rounded woman who loved playing BINGO, and getting pampered weekly at the salon. All who knew her valued her and she will be truly missed.
