Joanne Ralston, 90, of Edison former resident of Minerva Park Columbus, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
Joanne was born January 23, 1927 to Francis and Mildred (Leohner) Southard.
She was a devout Christian and former Sunday School teacher. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church for over 50 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and wonderful friend and sister.
She was married to David for 58 years.
Joanne will be deeply missed by her husband David E. Ralston; children Barbara L. Capuana (Mark), David B. Ralston (Cathy); grandchildren Kate Davis, Adreanne N. Regner, Kelly A. Ralston (Kyla), Jonathan D. Ralston; great-grandchildren Gracyn J. Bialko, Sophia L. Regner, Corissa V. Regner, Zachary Davis, Colton Davis, Marissa Davis; sisters Ginny Harper (Fred)
Along with her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her brother Richard Southard, sister Norma J. Cummings (Jim), step-daughter Carol L. White.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017, from 11am to 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Wagner officiating. Burial will be at Blendon Central Cemetery.
