Joe Ray May, age 80, died November 29, 2014 at Doctors Hospital West. Born on January 13, 1934 to the late Thomas J. and Belva (Large) May in Cherokee, KY. Retired from White Westinghouse after 32 years of service. Preceded in death by wife Daisy Cisco Wellman, siblings Johnnie, Charles Edward, H. Martin, Maxine, Paul W. and Rose M. Survived by brother Oscar May, sister-in-law Belva May, Nephew Thomas (Kim) May, sons Randel (Diane), Billie (Laurel), David (Denise) and Steven (Carrie), grandchildren Jason (Anna) May, Sherry May, Greg May, Kristen May, Kevin (Christina) May, Emily Thacker, Crystal Olsen, Michael Olsen and Lindsie Larzelere, great grandchildren Brandon May, Wyatt Olsen, Collin May, Destiny May and Amelia Arendt.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Interment immediately following visitation at Green Lawn Cemetery.
