John R. Blount, 66, passed away on December 28, 2017. He was born on February 1, 1951 in Charleston, WV.
He was a 1969 graduate of Franklin Heights High School. John was a longtime member of the Sheet Metal Union. You always knew John was around by his laugh. He was very loyal and loving to all his family and so proud of his kids and grandkids. He loved sports and was a huge Ohio State and Browns fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Paul and Eva Mae Blount, brother, Mike Blount.
Surviving family includes wife, Molly, children, Lisa (Jeff) Yoder, Brian (Erin) Blount, Aimee (Josh) Forster, step-daughter, Misty Lorimer, 10 grandchildren, siblings, Rick, Patty, Paula and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
