John Brack Rigsby, Jr.

March 31, 1936 — November 26, 2014

John Brack Rigsby, Jr., 78 of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born on March 31, 1936 to the late Myrtle J. (Caudill) and John B. Rigsby, Sr., in Magoffin County, KY. Served during the Korean War and retired from Overnite Transportation after driving 4 million miles all over the U.S. and teaching others to drive. His passion was his family, the Bible, joke-telling and relaxing by the pool. He is also preceded in death by sisters Bertha Jayne, Ethel Lehman, brothers John Paul, Marcus and Corbett Rigsby. Survived by wife of 52 years Patricia (Stoll) Rigsby, their three children Brent Rigsby, Sonia (Tom) Dotson and Dustin (Marsha) Rigsby, grandchildren Billie Salmons, Zach and Cortney Dotson, Jessica, Melissa and Jacob Bragg. Also survived by siblings Roy (Greta), Mary Justice, Martha Ann Bliss, Joe, Herman (Charlene), Thurman (Linda), Margaret Smith and Sue (Don) Coston, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home at 10am with Pastor Avery Little officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
