John DeWitt, age 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann, son Barry (Regina) and daughter Johnna (Tim) Castle, 5 grandchildren Joel, Robyn, Kristyn, Morgan (Tom) and Hunter, 3 great grandsons Landon, Lane and Logan and close family friend, Deck Graves.
John was a 32 year member of Teamster's Local 413, driving semi-tractor trailers for Refiners and Roadway.
He was an avid Nascar race fan, traveling all across the country to the races with his young family in their motor home to more recently spending time at Dennis Racing Shop and going to the races throughout the Midwest.
But he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
They were his pride and joy.
Per John's wishes, he will be cremated and there will not be a memorial service.
