John Carrington Dunn Jr., of, Gahanna, OH passed away February 4, 2022.
He was born in Evanston, Illinois on June 11, 1939 to the late John and Carolyn (Johnson) Dunn Sr.
He is preceded in death by loving wife of 46 years, Betty Ann Dunn; and sister, Ann Dobelstein.
Surviving family includes children, Kevin (Amy) Dunn and Julie (Scott Hucle) Dunn; grandchildren, Mackenzie, and Caroline.
John and Betty Ann spent their married years in Chesterland, OH; where, they raised their family.
He was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard from 1958 until 1962.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
