John E. Clarke, 67, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Columbus, OH making plans with his best friend Bob for their next fishing trip.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Joann Clarke; and sister, Hazel Clarke-Dalton.
He is survived by loving wife, Eve Clarke, a very large loving family, and many friends.
John served his country proudly in the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid fisherman, and he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House Hospice, 800 McConnell Dr. Columbus, OH 43214 in John's memory, or you may donate to your favorite Humane Society.
