John H. Stephens

John Henry Stephens, 85, passed away peacefully Oct. 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by parents, Isaac and Ida Stephens; wife, Myrtle Kay (Boggs) Stephens; son, Kevin "Cubby" Stephens; and siblings, Doug, Laura, Mildred, James.

Survived by sons, John Mark (Melody) Stephens and Tom (Shirley) Stephens; grandchildren, Michelle (Omar) Humeidan, Isaac, Tyler, Kyle, and Dylan Stephens; siblings, Lola, Alma, Liddie, and Evelyn; many other family and friends.

John served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Kentucky Colonel and an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. He coached baseball for many years at South Franklin. John loved antiques and enjoyed his time on the family farm in Kentucky.

Visitation Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

Private Interment at Pataskala Cemetery.
