John J. DeLong, 55, Gahanna, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014. John was born in Grove City OH on April 19, 1959, to the late Alvin and Irene Emma Jane DeLong.
John is survived by many good friends including, John Beggs, Jim Shaw, Charles Lusco, and Dean Markle.
John worked as a Staff Accountant for DFAS and also had worked for the US Postal Service.
He was an avid shooter and had many friends in the recreational shooting community.
Friends will gather on Monday, December 15, 2014, 4-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014, 10:00 AM at Jefferson Twp Cemetery, Blacklick, OH.
