John F. Mullins, 68, a man of quiet strength and unwavering integrity, passed away on April 21, 2026, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born on March 16, 1958, in Columbus, John lived a life characterized by simplicity and deep connection to those he loved.

John was a salt of the earth kind of person — grounded, dependable, and sincere. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing time spent hunting and fishing alongside his father. These moments were more than just hobbies; they were bonds woven over years, reflecting the essence of who John was. His greatest happiness came from spending time with family and friends, nurturing relationships built on love and mutual respect.

He is survived by his brother, Jack E. Mullins, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who were touched by his gentle spirit and steadfast loyalty. John was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jack D. and Helen L. (Moore) Mullins, and his sister, Beverly Chaney.

A graveside service to honor John’s life will be held on April 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Obetz Cemetery, located at 4455 Groveport Road, Obetz, Ohio 43207, with Pastor Tim Stout officiating. 

John F. Mullins leaves behind a legacy defined by humility, kindness, and a steadfast devotion to those around him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
