John was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping.
Surviving family includes wife, Helen Faye Roberts; sons, Dan (Arnette) Simpson, Fred (Lisa) Roberts; daughter, Cindy (Tom) Phillips; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family.
Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Rose Roberts.
