John Neil Rouse, Jr.

John Neil Rouse, Jr., age 88, passed away quietly at Kobacker House on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was born on September 22, 1929 in Columbus, OH.
John retired from Otis Elevator Co. after 37 years of service. He was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving in Korea for one year. John was a member of Shriner's and the Eastgate Masonic Lodge.
He will always be remember as a proud father and loving husband who enjoyed fishing on The French River in Canada.
Preceded in death by parents, Neil and Madeline Rouse; son, Brett; brother, Ted.
Survived by wife of 67 years, Doris; sons, John Neil (Barb) Rouse III, Max (Molly) Rouse and Ted (Lori) Rouse; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandsons.
Graveside service will be held at a later date at Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
