John S. Evans

John S. Evans, 41, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. John was born in Columbus, OH on December 24, 1971, to Betty Jane Evans and Earnest Evans. John is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Willard and Mary Evans; maternal grandparents, Stewart and Maudie Spaulding and Dave and Jennie Messer. Survivors include his parents, Betty (Jr Crum) Evans and Earnest (Betty L.) Evans; siblings, Carol Evans, Earnest (Tammy) Evans Jr, David (Sue) Evans; Kathy (Ray) Danielson, Jan Dunning, Jillian (Brian) Hamilton; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

John had a special love for his dogs, Sam and Levi. He was a huge supporter of Ohio State Football and was a student at Columbus State College.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, December 15, 2013, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.

Visitation will continue on Sunday evening, December 15, 2013, at 8:00 PM at Silver Creek United Baptist Church, Crum, WV 25669. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013, 12:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Webb Cemetery, Webb, WV.
