John Alpheus Sanders, 67, of Columbus passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at his residence.
He was born May 8, 1946 in Columbus, son of the late Alpheus and Theresa Good Sanders.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Sanders.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
John is survived by his wife, Terry Sanders; son, John Sanders; brothers, William and Thomas Sanders; best friends, Christopher Jones, Bob and Ann Link, William Caldwell, Thelma Wright, Bobby Milburn, Adam Ballard, Leah Carpenter, Gary Brown and family.
Visitation will be Wednesday December 4, 2013 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1950 Arlington Lane Columbus, OH 43228 or Mt. Carmel Hospice c/o Mt. Carmel Foundation 6150 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
