John B. Smith Jr.
June 29, 1923 — November 5, 2017
John B. Smith Jr., age 94, passed away November 5, 2017. He was born June 29, 1923 in Knott County, KY.
Preceded in death by granddaughter Stacey Michelle Smith-Siders.
Survived by wife Beulah; children Linda (Phil) Dillard, Rita Sharrock, David (Debbie) Smith, Lois Smith; grandchildren Tony (Danica) Sharrock, Phil Siders, Jessica Smith; great-grandchildren Zachary and Lauren Sharrock, Austin, Makayla, Paisley and Emmit Siders, and Jordan Spires; brother Robert B. Smith; as well as extended family and friends.
John proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran. He was a retired carpenter. More than anything John loved spending time with his family, especially beach trips and his birthday parties.
Visitations will be Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Newcomer, Grove City, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Service will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at the funeral home at 11am. Burial to follow at Galloway Cemetery.
