John Swisher

John E. Swisher, 58, passed away October 29, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Swisher Sr.; sister, Kimberly (Swisher) Schneller; mother of his children, Tamara Gray; cousins, Mandy Hildebrand, Daniel Hildebrand, and Matthew Scott; aunt and uncle, Mable and Glen Mullins; uncle, Bud Masters.

He is survived by mother, Mayme "Pat" Young; step-father, Micheal Young; sons, Tyler and Alex Swisher; brother, Michael Swisher Jr.; neice, Paige Schneller and family; uncle, Donald Masters; uncle and aunt, Carl and Yvonne Swisher; many other extended family and friends.

John was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He could be found hanging out with his friends and being on his SxS. He was good with his hands and loved working on his cars. John was a sports enthusiast and liked to attend many different events. He was a barrell maker at Speyside for many years.

Visitation for friends and family will be held Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 2-5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio (614-539-6166).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family during this difficult time.
