John W. Douglas

January 31, 1962 — April 25, 2014

John W. Douglas, 52, passed away on April 25, 2014 at his childhood home with his dad, mom and sister by his side, after a short battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his long time companion, Cheri Poole; grandparents, Irene Vaughn and George Douglas, Niza Ray and Troy Ray.

John is survived by parents, Jim and Barbara Douglas; brother, Michael (Christina) Douglas; sister, Sherry (Tim) Bova; mother of his children, Lana Douglas; children, Misty (Joey) Gresham, Shawn and Christopher Douglas; grandchildren, Kayla, Hayden, Zayne and Hannah; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends from Greentree Mobile Home Park.

Visitation Monday, April 28, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Beauchamp, from Canaan Land Baptist Church, officiating. Interment to follow at Old Grove City Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
