John Walker, age 62, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017.
He was born on January 19, 1955 in Logan, OH.
John earned his Drafting Certificate from Hocking College and ended his career as a Mechanical Designer.
Surviving family includes wife, Merrilee Jonas Walker; son, Thomas (Sonja) Walker; grandson, Gabriel, born on PaPa's birthday; sisters, Linda (Danny) Searls and Janet (Mike) Stewart; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Larry D. Walker and Norma Jean Mason; son, John Christopher Walker; brother, Larry "Pete" Walker Jr.; step-father, Bill Joy.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4501 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH 43123 with Pastors Peter Ray and Jeff Wise officiating.
Special heartfelt thank you to Jennifer, Joe, Barb, Priscilla, Holly, "Capt." Mary Ellen and countless others who aided in John's care the past five years. Also the ladies from Bethel Lutheran who sat with John every Wednesday afternoon, Gail, Pat and Susie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kindred Hospice, 540 Officenter Pl Ste 100, Gahanna, OH 43230.
