John Wayne Kinder

John Wayne Kinder born June 27, 1938 in Ameagle, West Virginia, into the arms of Holly & Delphia Thompson Kinder passed away suddenly at his residence on August 25, 2015. John loved retirement, blue grass music, the West Virginia Mountaineers, and of course the Undisputed 2015 Champion Buckeyes.

John is survived by his sidekick and companion of many years, Twana R. Dunn, whose presence in his life gave John fire in the belly. John's other survivors include his best friend and brother, William Kinder (Colorado Springs, CO), loving sisters Jean Cameron of Reynoldsburg, OH, Bonnie (Butch) Mann, of Collegeville PA, Sharon (Kenny) Schussler of Perkasie PA, Karen (Jim) Franklin of Telford PA, and cherished sister-in-law Betty Kinder of Prosperity WV, wife of deceased youngest brother Robert. John also leaves behind his sons Sherman "Woody" Kinder, Columbus OH and John W. (Melanie) Kinder Jr., Northville, MI, and daughter Lena Lyons and her two children Jessica and Mitchell Lyons. Other significant people in John's life include Twana's daughter Twanette Prince, his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He may be gone, but his wittiness and humor and love of life will never be forgotten. Godspeed Old Timer. Save us a spot on the other side.

Family will receive friends at the Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH from 4–6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2015.
